10 years ago I moved with my family to the north of the Golan Heights (north of Tel Aviv), to Kibbutz Ein Zivan. We moved a business from south Tel Aviv (Levinsky Market) to the tourist center of Kibbutz Ein Zivan. After several years we built our houses in the extension of this magical settlement, and I For many years, I felt at home.
Westport Outdoors is a love born from where I live. A place where the meaning of living outside is doubled and doubled because of the nature and silence around. And as someone who grew up for years in the northern United States and Canada, Adirondack furniture and the Adirondack chair that entered my heart years ago, suddenly felt like the right furniture for life in the Golan.
In 2021 I founded Westport and we started importing Adirondack furniture, we set up a showroom made of recycled wood in the lower coop in the kibbutz 
And customers started coming to try and experience a real American Adirondack chair ( really, but really not a crown! ). We set up an amazing showroom in the lower coop in Ein Zivan, and opened a carpentry for recycled wood furniture. But then the war came and everything changed.
As a child, I grew up in Ramat Hasharon (when there was still a Pesach grocery store in the square), and during this surreal and crazy time, I helped my childhood friends and recently exhibited in a pop-up store in Osishkin Square to try to encourage sales. People don't come to Ein Zivan these days.
Then one day Ziv came from the Pilates studio Happylates and suggested that we rent the yard for an exhibition complex. The house at Bialik 47, Ramat Hasharon is a little bubble of peace, and the connection with our furniture was natural.
